- How does as product qualify for the Low Price Guarantee?
The product must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- Be the exact same brand name frame, sunglasses or readers model #
- Priced in local currency and include all local costs and taxes
- Sold by a retailer and authorized dealer located within the country of jurisdiction.
- Be in stock, available for sale, and cannot be a limited time offer, pre-order, or available only in limited quantity
- Price must not be lower due to an advertising error, misprint, or special sale price*
*Special sale prices include: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Friends and Family, pre-orders, special educational prices, restricted offers, rebates, close-outs, liquidations, clearances, demos, refurbished items, open box items, and financing offers.

- Offers which include cash back, credit pricing, free gift with purchase or discounted offers
- Special promotional offers i.e. offers not available to the general public e.g. promotional offers received by text message or email
- Clearance items, items discounted items, damaged items
- Products shipped from or sold by third-party sellers on Facebook marketplace or supplied through unauthorized resellers (known as ‘grey market’ items) or delivered directly to customers from an overseas distributor e.g. Amazon.
- Unauthorized resellers are defined as individuals without a physical store location who offer product for sale without a licensed agreement from the manufacturer.
- Can I use a voucher or discount when price matching?
No. Vouchers or discounts cannot be applied towards items that have been price matched.
- Does Courts Optical match the prices of Internet retailers?
We only match the prices on the local websites of authorized resellers or distributors.
- Are competitors’ services eligible for price matching?
No. Courts Optical does not match competitors’ service prices. This includes, but is not limited to eye examinations and extended warranty.
- How do I show “proof” of price?
The best way to show proof of price is to bring in the competitor’s current ad. We may call the competitor’s retail store to verify the lower price and availability of the item.
- How do I start a price match request?
There are two ways to make a price match request:
- IF within 7 days of making a purchase at Courts Optical, you see a competitor with a lower price of the identical item, bring in your receipt as well as the proof of the lower price that is still in effect. Original receipts are required for price adjustments after purchase.
- If you come into our store to make a purchase and you’re aware of a lower price of the identical product you would like to purchase, please go to a Customer Service Representative for help with your BEST PRICE request. Please bring proof of the lower price that is still in effect that you want Courts Optical to price match.
The price for an item must be listed and valid at the time of match. We reserve the right to verify a competitor’s advertised price and the availability of the item. If we are not able to verify the lower price, your request may be declined.
